"From foudre, the 2021 Fourchaumes is a little too marked by the wood. A touch of coconut, with lactic notes, but still the fruit comes up behind with some energy and a crisp fresh finish. Same in demi-muid (2017) which has less wood effect, more elegance of the fruit. Very elegant, in fact, indeed quite striking. Excellent finish."
