The soils are as sandy, clayey as they are silty. Our terroirs are in a way the hinge between Beaujolais and Burgundy. It is therefore a blend of several plots all facing south. We planted these vines in 2013 and 2015, on unexploited plots and therefore rested for ten years. This hillside offers a superb panorama over the Saône plain and on a clear day the Mont Blanc and the chain of the Alps emerge. A magnificent working environment! A wine matured only in stainless steel vats and to be consumed rather young.

Producer: Domaine Chardigny

A family estate between Beaujolais and Burgundy.

It is between Burgundy and Beaujolais that the Chardigny estate cultivates vines and transforms magnificent grapes into quality wines. The exploitation of an area of 20 hectares extends over different clay-limestone slopes.

In 2015, on the strength of various commercial experiences, Pierre-Maxime took over the estate. Quickly, Victor, holder of an oenology diploma, joined him. They are supported by their brother Jean-Baptiste, also working in viticulture and their father who made his career in the bottling of wine at the property.

The estate has 8 hectares of Saint-Véran among the best slopes of the appellation, 6 hectares of Saint-Amour, 3 hectares of Beaujolais-Villages and 3 hectares of Burgundy. The vines are cultivated organically, that is to say without synthetic pesticides or herbicides. The good health of the soil and the vines are the key to having quality grapes allowing the production of unique wines.

All their vines are cultivated according to the principles of organic farming.
