Dominating to the east the medieval city of Saint-Émilion, just 500m away, the vineyard of Vieux Sarpe is sitting on a beautiful limestone plateau. Traditional winemaking in heat-regulated concrete tank. Temperature does not exceed 28°C ; heat regulation with metallic serpentine in each vat. Aged 18 months in new Oak barrels.
Ruby colour, clear and shiny. Smooth in the nose and fine tannins. Mouth is round, with a nice length.
70% Merlot, 30% Cabernet Franc.
