Cantina Offida is located in the town of Offida in the Marche region in Central Italy and is a historical reality of the area, in fact it was born in the 70s and immediately became a winery of vital importance for both the quality and quantity of the grapes processed by various winemakers who bring their grapes here.
In 2010, the historic winery was acquired by a winemaking group from the Piceno area which immediately implemented the new production and commercial strategy right from the 2010 winemaking campaign.
The offida cellar is based on an agricultural logic through which the figures of the winemaker, of the cellar (understood as transformation and marketing) are well defined in their roles but work on a long-term project and a logic of production of high quality wines .
Cantina Offida processes about 60,000 quintals of grapes a year from the native varieties of the area; Passerina, Pecorino, Rosso Piceno, Rosso Piceno Superiore, Sangiovese and vines such as Syrah, Cabernet, Merlot, Chardonnay.
Cantina Offida immediately started a series of renovation works both of the wall structures and of the technologies for winemaking, refining and bottling very consistent with the specific purpose of making this company one of the reference points of the Marche region.
