“Pepita” Toscana IGT Rosso, 2022

In the glass the 2022 Pepita shows a deep, youthful purple-red hue. On the nose, there’s an energetic peppery note from the Alicante grape, complemented by the distinctive pyrazines of Cabernet Sauvignon, all gently framed by the noble spices of barrel ageing. On the palate it delivers a generous, sweet Merlot core, balanced by firm Montepulciano tannins and a lively structural backbone. The fruit is vibrant and tasty, leading into a long, engaging finish that invites another sip.
