Deep garnet-ruby in the glass, this 2015 opens with an aromatic bouquet of ripe plums and dark cherries, complemented by hints of licorice, earth and mineral chalk from the limestone-clay hillside vineyards. On the palate it offers elegant medium-full body, silky Merlot-driven fruit (84 % Merlot) supported by Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc (9 % / 7 %) for structure and lift. The oak is well integrated, lending subtle spice and soft mocha tones without overwhelming the fruit. A lively acidity keeps the wine fresh, while gently firm, polished tannins provide a refined backbone and a finish defined by black-raspberry and cocoa whispers.
