From this large south-facing hillside, the view of the Beaujolais Crus is incredible. We can see many villages and their bell towers as well as many mountains. For us it is one of the most beautiful views of Beaujolais. Here the very stony soil is slightly more loamy than its neighbor the Clos du Chapitre. The large surface area of this cuvée (4.5 hectares) allows us to try several types of maceration. The aging of this wine lasts 12 months in barrels, demi-muids and stainless steel vats. The finesse, the silky tannins and its significant aging potential make it an elegant cuvée.
